Wellington South Kindergarten - Newtown
ILLUSTRATION, CONCEPT & MURAL DESIGN | COMMISSIONED PROJECT
This multi-panel mural, composed of 19 unique illustrations, celebrates the rich culture and diversity of the Newtown community. Each panel acts as a window into a different place, depicting New Zealand cultural images while connecting and honoring many different heritages.
The project was designed to create a welcoming, familiar space for children and families, while celebrating an establishment that has supported Wellington families and nurtured tamariki for 90 years (recently discovered to be even closer to 115!).
The mural celebrates tamariki, kaiako, culture, and the vibrant, diverse community that makes Newtown so special.
Pacific Perfumes - Aro Valley

Commissioned by Pacific Perfumes, this mural is a tribute to the land, its rich biodiversity, and the deep connection between nature and community. Nestled in Aro Valley, the artwork draws inspiration from the surrounding Waimapihi Reserve, celebrating its vibrant wildlife and lush scenery.
Featuring the iconic Tui and the golden blossoms of the Kōwhai tree, the mural captures the beauty and spirit of this special place. My goal was to weave nature into urban life; blending art with the rhythms of the community and honoring the landscapes that inspire both Pacific Perfumes and the people of Aotearoa.
