Soy Cartografía is a personal project that maps the emotional terrain of migration; of leaving, arriving, settling, and reshaping. It’s a visual and poetic reflection of the many lives I’ve lived across cultures
and places.
Each line holds a memory, each point a story.
This work is rooted in the experience of movement; geographical, emotional, and internal. It speaks of the fragments of self that are scattered and gathered again when you migrate. These lives and moments, though once separate, are now woven together into who I am.
He sido tantas calles,
tantos cielos sobre mi piel.
No soy un punto fijo,
soy el mapa y sus desvíos,
cada línea es un recuerdo,
cada punto, una vida.
Soy todas las vidas
que me atreví a vivir.
I have been so many streets,
so many skies upon my skin.
I'm not a fixed point,
I'm a map and its detours,
each line a memory,
each point, a life.
I am all the lives I dared to live.
